VVAI

VVAI combines the Maori term for water (wai) with its Samoan equivalent (vai). The result is a word with pictorial properties reminiscent of Maori taniko, or the beginning of a Samoan tatau. Indigenous narrative, knowledge, and the waters of this earth are vital to the Pacific and her peoples.
